Graham Alexander has said he doesn't yet know the extent of the problem suffered by Jon Parkin in the game, but he's hoping it's nothing too serious.
Speaking to the Official Site Alexander explained that he saw Parkin had a problem, and the worry is he's only just returned from a hamstring injury, so they are hoping it might only be a slight strain, rather than a pull or something more serious - especially with Parkin's current goalscoring form.
'We don't know, I know that he felt something but nothing major, so we're going to have to assess that. Three goals in three games show he can be a big player for us. But we've also got Michel and players who will hopefully take an opportunity.'
On Michel, Alexander adds that he saw enough to know he could be an option for us, and he pleased the transfer went through as there was a fair amount of red tape to deal with when it came to the 24 year old.
In the remainder of the interview Alexander talks about how the player is settling in, the fact he has to use Mawene as a translator at the moment, but that he's been pleased with what he's seen from him so far, and that he should really already have a goal under his belt.
He also discusses the upcoming game.
