Alexander Calm After Recent Win

Graham Alexander has said that nobody at the club will get carried away as we re-entered the Play Off positions following the victory over Oxford.

Speaking to Fleetwood Today after seeing goals from Ryan Crowther and Junior Brown lift us back to fourth place in the league, the gaffer said.

'It's another three points on our tally, I haven't looked at the table, I'm just looking at the points tally. We just want to put points on the board. We are in a good position, but we haven't done anything yet.'

Alexander warns of players taking their foot off the pedal by getting too focused on where we sit, instead of concentrating on the games and getting the points that could lift us even higher.

'The players are showing they want to be successful, but we have to take it one step at a time.'

Alexander also said that he thought we deserved the victory against Oxford and he was delighted with the battling display the players came out with. Saying that the performance was full of courage, even if it wasn't one of our best of the season so far.
