Charnock Glad To Be Back

Kieron Charnock has said he is focused on keeping himself in the first team after returning for 90 minutes against Burton.

Speaking to the Official Site following his first 90 minutes since being injured last season, the defender said he hopes he has done enough to stay in the side, even though he knows his chance has come through injuries to others.

'I was really pleased when I found out I was playing and I was in the team and I felt good out there. I'm delighted to be on the pitch playing for Fleetwood again. I want to keep my place, I want to earn a contract for next season, so hopefully I can do that. You only need one chance and hopefully I have showed the gaffer that he can trust me out there and I can feature in his plans.'

Charnock himself admitted that the sending off changed the game, but everyone is now focused on three points in our next game.
