Defender Joins For The Rest Of The Campaign

Fleetwood Town have announced that agreement has been reached with Leeds United to keep young defender Charlie Taylor with us until the end of the season.

The highly rated 20 year old has so far made 13 appearances for the club since joining us on loan, and nine of those have been in the league campaign.

Given manager Graham Alexander's reliance on him, it's great news that we have him for the rest of the campaign now and on a personal level for him, he'll be looking forward to at minimum doubling the number of games he has played so far as he continues his own development as a footballer.

Charlie's a player with the ability to play at a higher level so keeping him until the end of the season is great news.
