Alexander - Make It Four Unbeaten

Alexander - Make It Four Unbeaten

Manager Graham Alexander has called on the team to register back to back victories when we face Bury tonight following on from the Torquay match.

Having put ourselves back into the mix of things properly with the win over bottom placed Torquay, Alexander is now looking for us to really kick on again now and take the game to Bury and register back to back wins to really reignite our automatic promotion hopes.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of tonight's game, the gaffer said we couldn't underestimate our opponents based on their league position because Torquay were tough and Bury have been playing very well of late and results for the could've gone a lot differently in recent times.

'It will be tough but we're looking forward to it. Bury are in a good run of form, play good football and they'll be competitive. There are no easy games but we go there in good spirits after the three points on Saturday but we know we'll have to work just as hard to make sure we get anything from the game.'

Alexander admits that the miles are certainly being racked up at the moment, so a somewhat closer trip to Bury he knows will be easier on the fans and he just hopes the players can give them something to cheer about on the way home.

With the opposition not being overly prolific in front of goal, the fact we now have three clean sheets in a row is a positive and that will also be something we are looking to extend to four tonight.
