Alexander Interest In Veteran Midfielder?

Graham Alexander could be bringing a vastly experienced midfielder to Highbury this summer if reports are right?

Free agent Gary Jones is being linked with the Cod Army.

Bradford released the 37 year old at the end of last season but despite being at the veteran stage of his career, and captaining them during his time with them, he wasn't offered a new contract but is thought to have plenty left to offer the game and this could see Alexander look to bring in the midfielder who has made almost 700 appearances.

Jones has been around the block but he's a player that I know I'd much rather be on your side than against it so if Alexander is interested in him I think he'll be a good signing but for every player reports link Fleetwood with there will be another dozen that won't, with an equal amount interesting Alexander that he isn't going to be able to secure.
