Fleetwood 1-0 Rochdale (League 1)

1 - 0

Highbury Stadium

14/03/15; 3pm

Ahead of this game I said that we wanted to make sure that we made the win at Sheffield United count. It's fair to say that Fleetwood did with the one-nil win over Rochdale at Highbury Stadium on Saturday keeping our play-off bid very much alive.

The first half ended goalless and shortly after he had put an effort just wide Morris (59), who kept his goalscoring run going with his third in as many games, put us ahead just ahead of the hour when he found the bottom corner.

McAlinden almost added another but Rochdale 'keeper Jones kept that effort out with Murdoch by the frame of the goal but it didn't matter, one goal was enough to secure us another three-points and keep our bid to secure another play-off place alive.
